Panaque Blue Pleco (Large)

The Blue Panaque Pleco, like other members of the Panaque genus, is a freshwater catfish native to South America. To provide good conditions, maintain water temperature between 24 and 28 degrees Celsius, pH between 6.5 and 7.5, and moderate water hardness.

In terms of behavior, Panaque Plecos can be territorial, so be sure to provide ample hiding places and space in the aquarium. These fish are generally herbivorous, and their diet may include vegetables like cucumber, zucchini, and vegetarian tablets specifically for catfish.
