Origin: Red-tailed Botias are native to Asia, and are often found in the rivers and streams of India.

Water Conditions: Maintain a water temperature between 22 and 30 degrees Celsius, a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0 to 7.5), and moderate to hard water hardness.

Behavior: Red-tailed Botias are known to be active and social. They can be kept in groups, but be sure to provide hiding places in the aquarium, as they can be territorial.

Diet: These fish are omnivorous. They accept a variety of foods including pellets, flakes, bloodworms, and they will also eat vegetables like cucumber or zucchini.
